Last updated: April 25, 2026
1. Agreement
By purchasing any service from TheCarriersPortal.com ("we," "us," or "the Company"), you ("Client") agree to the following terms. These terms govern the setup, delivery, and ongoing maintenance of your carrier compliance portal.
2. Services
The Company provides the following services under the one-time setup fee:
- Registration and configuration of a custom
.comdomain in the Client's company name - Setup of a professional dispatch email address on that domain
- Design and deployment of a 4-page compliance portal including: Authority Homepage, Compliance & Insurance Page, Equipment & Safety Page, and Dispatch Contact Page
- Initial upload of compliance documents provided by the Client (W-9, ACORD certificate, FMCSA Authority)
The ongoing monthly retainer covers: domain renewal, SSL certificate, web hosting, and document updates when the Client's compliance certificates are renewed.
3. Pricing & Payment
The setup fee is $399 USD, charged once at time of purchase. The maintenance retainer is $49 USD per month, billed monthly beginning after portal delivery. All payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, tax compliance, and receipts.
4. Delivery
The Company targets portal delivery within 69 hours of receiving all required information from the Client. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on Client response time in providing required documents and information. The Company is not liable for delays caused by incomplete or delayed submissions from the Client.
5. Client Responsibilities
The Client is responsible for providing accurate company information, valid compliance documents, and timely responses to information requests. The Client warrants that all documents submitted (W-9, ACORD certificates, FMCSA authority) are authentic and current.
6. Cancellation
The monthly retainer may be cancelled at any time by contacting us at info@thecarriersportal.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial-month refunds are issued. Upon cancellation, the Company will transfer domain control to the Client upon written request.
7. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment of the setup fee, the Client owns all content specific to their business (their documents, contact details, company information). The Company retains rights to design templates, code, and structural elements not unique to the Client's business.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Company is not a legal, compliance, or insurance advisor. The compliance portal is an informational and presentational tool. The Company makes no guarantee that use of the portal will result in broker approval, factoring approval, load awards, or any specific business outcome. Total liability is limited to fees paid in the 30 days preceding any claim.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
